1️⃣ Data Collection and Usage
a. Data We Collect:
- User-generated data: User profiles, email addresses, site models, site maps.
- Captured data: Images and video captured through the Insta360 SDK integrated within our Android app.
- Usage Data: Logs, crash reports, and usage metrics collected for app improvement and security.
b. How We Collect Data:
- In-app collection: Through direct user input and device sensors (via Insta360 SDK).
- Uploads: Users can manually upload site maps and 3D models to our platform.
- Authentication: We collect login credentials and manage access securely.
c. How We Use Data:
- To provide core app functionalities (site mapping, model viewing).
- To manage user authentication and permissions (using AWS Key Management Service, IAM roles).
- To securely store and retrieve user data via AWS S3, EC2, and RDS.
- To integrate with Autodesk APIs for BIM model mapping.
2️⃣ Data Sharing
We currently do NOT share your data with any third-party services (such as analytics tools or advertising networks) outside of the AWS ecosystem, which we use solely for secure storage and processing.
If in the future we integrate third-party services that handle user data (e.g., analytics, advertising), we will ensure that such parties provide equal or stronger data protection as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
3️⃣ Data Retention and Deletion
- We retain user data as long as it is necessary to provide services to you.
- We store data securely in AWS S3, with strict access control.
- When data is no longer required, we will permanently delete it from our servers and backups.
4️⃣ Revoking Consent and Data Deletion
- Revoke Consent: You may revoke your consent at any time by contacting our support team at contact@mysitetech.com.
- Data Deletion: You may request deletion of your data by emailing us at contact@mysitetech.com or using the in-app deletion request feature (if available). We will process your request within 30 days.
🔒 Data Security
- We implement strong authentication, access management, and encryption measures using AWS services (IAM roles, KMS) to ensure data confidentiality and integrity.
- All data transfers are encrypted in transit and at rest.
